If you mean paint a portrait on the roof, I already have something painted there :
Even something as simple as this, and people can't make out what it is.
If I painted a dog or cat up there, most people wouldn't be able to make out what it is.
The problem is that you have to be at a very high vantage point to see it.
I considered painting something stretched out on the roof - a '3D ' effect , but again you have to be at just the right height and angle to see it right.

When viewed from the wrong angle, the illusion falls apart :
