New addition to the family!

My parents got a 2008 Prius! I might've influenced the decision a little.
My mother will be the primary driver, it's replacing a 1997 Isuzu Oasis (Honda Odyssey). Instant 50% reduction in fuel usage!
Driving back the ~50 miles from the dealer, I averaged 65 MPG. So far, I can't beat the mileage I get in the Civic. But I'll try every chance I get!

I might do a few mods to it, if I'm allowed! Upper grill block and wheel covers are first on my list. The EV switch is tempting. And so is a switch to make coasting (no arrows) easier. Basically mimic the throttle position that enables coasting. Of course tire pressure is up already.

Woo, congrats.

FYI the throttle position sensor is hall effect, so its not a simple switch deal.

Very nice addition.

I am new too. I have been asked and I know I need to upload my information. I just haven't had time recently to play around with the website. I'll get there.
