new ebike build

5 months of cycling every workday update:
I have looked hard at my commute routes from the house to the train, and none of them are an acceptable risk. I will not be building this into an ebike for this reason.
I only drive to work when I absolutely have to, probably 4 times in the last 5 months.
I am a bit of an endorphin junkie and ride extra miles in the morning, and try to get at least one 17-30 mile ride each week after work. I don't need the assist.
