New here, trying for 40mpg! - Fuel Economy, Hypermiling, EcoModding News and Forum

Hey everyone! I've been encouraged by my car's fuel economy to try for 40mpg. It is already at ~31mpg highway, which is way over the 24mpg EPA estimate, and I think with a little work I can get it to 40. Which is good, because it takes premium which is about $4.29 a gallon right now. Looking forward to the tips and modifications!

Welcome. That's going to be quite a challenge to get 40 mpg out of your C280. I got a few 40 mpg tanks out of my 26 mpg highway estimated SE-R, but it was a manual.

For starters, keep your speeds down and raise your tire pressures, if you haven't already done so.
