New to Hypermiling

well folks...

thought id join up to get some tips of getting the most out of my new daily for work...

car is a peugeot 206 1.4 HDi...

already gone through two tanks and got 65mpg on the first and 63mpg on the second...

after doing some reading i have slowed my speed down to around 55mph on flat road and i am anxious to see if it will make a difference....

also looking into making the car more aerodynamic so will have a nosey around the forum for the best techniques

There are lots of tricks all over the site, and a lot of people willing to help! You oughta add your car in the garage and start a fuel log, it helps to watch your progress tank to tank

i will have a good geek out on the info in here...

I may mess about with some black duct tape on the front of the car and will look into some wheel deflectors ...

in fairness the money is save with these tricks will just be guzzled by my weekend warriors lol..
