New to Hypermiling and Ecomodding

Hello everybody,
I'm new to all of this, and since filling up I've started using some techniques learned from the articles you have up.

Before these techniques, according to what I've entered into the log, I was about 10% above EPA. I wonder how high I can get it?

Welcome to ecomodder! Depending on how dedicated you are, you should be able to expect some pretty good gains,

Set some goals, then try to hit them But, make sure your goals make you work hard

The thing that gets me is that I don't really have any way to track my mileage real time. I'm pre-OBD2, so I can't use a ScanGauge, and I don't really understand how to build an MPGuino.

A somewhat easier way is to know how many trip miles you should have at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 of the tank. Is your car a manual? You should see some nice gains after you actaully get in the hypermiling mindset
