Hey, everyone! I am new to conscious hypermiling. I have always had a steady foot and coasted to stops with my manual transmission cars. I am currently driving a 2005 Mitsu Lancer LX 2.0L 5 spd manual. I have always tracked my mileage and done better than EPA estimates. I still have a lot to learn on getting the most out of my car. I mostly want to learn to be a better driver and learn how to modify my car to improve mileage. I am even thinking about putting an electric motor on the rear wheels. I just haven't figured out the power generation since I don't have enough room for a large amount of batteries.

Welcome to the site. What kind of mileage are you getting out of the Lancer? I looked at them before going with the Matrix.
