A new personal best

I beat my previous best MPG record of 53.75 MPG with a tank of 57.14 MPG, which is 3.39 MPG more, while driving 95% of the time on the highway with 2 1/2 adults (the half being 2 small dogs and 2 backpacks). Not bad I'd say. I was shocked at how little it cost me to go nearly 280 miles.

Very nice indeed. Please share with others what kind of hypermiling techniques you used to get this result?

Shifting early, driving gently, doing 55 MPH max except for drafting behind tractor trailers (1-2 car lengths back), and going as possibe with a minimum speed of 30 MPH. My stock size tires (155/80r13) are overinflated to 50 PSI, I have pizza pan hubcaps, a front lower belly pan, and a grill block with a hole the size of a softball in it for cooling. Other than that it's all driving technique. I don't even have any FE instrumentation yet.
