This is the first warm weather the car and I have seen since I bought it last year with a check engine light. I stopped after the third click just to make it a round number at the pump, probably could have just stopped at 8.8 gallons
Modifications from stock
short ram intake * heat soaks on these hot days, huge difference in response from cold weather
iridium plugs
Marvel mystery oil added 6oz to fuel tank
93 octane
Michelin defender LRR tires
s40 gear box from civic ex/si
vacuum gauge to measure throttle input
small voltmeter to secondary oxygen sensor output to measure lean burn
City driving:
my commute is 40 miles each way with 45 mph speed limits. If I time everything right I'll only hit 3-4 stop lights
Lean burn engages at 55mph but seems to require more throttle than it is worth to stay in it. My cruising speed is about 50mph @2100 rpms
