The latest MOTOR TREND has a one-page piece on the Crown.
They describe the car as an Avalon, which is sectioned, and then a 4-inch thick riser in inserted into the lower body, and rejoined.
It directly affects the ratio of body length divided by the actual body height ( not the car's height ), which Baron Fachsenfeld focused on at Kamm's FKFS.
He referred to this ratio as 'verjungungsverhaltnisse'

Good catch, their marketing fooled me into making incorrect associations.

14/1 compression ratio on the 236 engine, and 11/1 on the turbo.

236 HP and 40 MPG is excellent though. My TSX is 205 HP and rated at 23 MPG (I get almost 30).
