Give it a try - you might find you're not that much longer on the road.
If at all.
Obviously, it depends on the length of the commute.

Mine's 30 miles. 60mph hardly changed the driving time, which varies more with traffic than with speed.

Mine is about 25 miles, prolly 23 of which are highway.

I'll give it a try...but no promises lol.

One a side note, I just got a free tank of gas for helping a friend drop the tank in his truck. Why do fuel pumps always die when the tank is full? Either way, I just got about 10 gallons of free gas for a few hours of my time, zero'd my trip odo, and will get to start logging fuel next time I fill up.

Just assuming your commute speed dropped from 70 miles/hr to 60 miles/hr, you would "lose" just a little over 3 1/2 minutes. Set your alarm 3 1/2 minutes earlier. Problem solved.

If you want to get really crazy, you could lose 15-20 seconds more and go 55 MPH. That would mean setting your alarm 3 minutes and 45 seconds earlier.

Tough call.

EDIT: P.S. The difference in MPG in my car from 70 miles/hr to 55 miles/hr is around *****20*****
Just throwing that out there.

I'm also not so favorable to mirror deletes. I'd rather replace both mirrors with streamlined ones from some sports motorcycle.
