Not really, new cars don't really leave much room for improvement. I've ordered a new Renault, it already has idle stop, smart alternator, electric water pump, variable displacement oil pump, a front air dam, fairly smooth wheels, DLC cylinder walls etc.

If it's anything like my Fiat 500, any kind of electrical mod like LED lights or a Lithium battery will throw errors and cause problems.

So while new cars get good numbers out of the box, the only real possible mods are the the more extreme aero mods like wheel skirts, kamms, and tails.
