New workplace limited parking!

been at a new firm since start of the month. there is limited parking space and each car has a designated place. 9 out of 10 times I stopped behind the company car. about 3 times a day I have to move my car quickly as someone will already be in the company car waiting for me to move. also the parking is at a very steep incline so throttle and clutch control is always needed when manoeuvring around. its very annoying but that seems to be the price to pay around here.

hybrid would be perfect! 2 cars need to be parked in a single parking bay one behind the other. so for the front car to move the one behind it has to move first

Sounds like you need a moped or bicycle... parking is easy.

Some random small motorcycle might be a good option to you. What about the Honda XR 125?

Actually I was thinking Sounds like "they" need a Vallet or porter. Seems like everywhere the push to force mass transit is on. Thanks, but no thanks.

With regard to bikes, mopeds, or motorcycles. I remind myself of what my mother said years ago. "Remember when they hit and fall after impact, its an extra 50 points if their glasses impact first." She was teaching me to drive at the time, but while her remarks were cynical the thought stayed with me.

I'm too old to be a statistic on the side of the road.

Actually, when you consider the life-lengthening health benefits of cycling compared to the statistical rate of death by automobile collision, cycling is safer. /soapbox

I can't say the same of motorcycles...

OMG! and I thought I could find some obscure, self serving, completely statistically invalid, drivel on the web. I salute you and walk away LMAO.

The article author should have stopped at biking deaths per kilometer. The rest was simply "piling it higher and deeper." IMO.

As the author suggests lets talk about the health benefits of riding your bike to the bar for the health benefits obtained from consuming alcohol. That will extend our lifes.

In this country motorbikes and cycling is suicidal. My leg currently has a 20cm steel plate and 15 screws keeping it together from a fall off my BMW 650gs few years back. came to work extra early this morning and took the company car parking. the company car was then moved in behind mine. lets see how long before anything gets said
