Wow! For those looking to solely reduce cost when hypermiling, at what price point does it take to not make enough of a difference?

^That might do it... for a while.
Filled several gas cans at $1.49 today at a station's Grand Opening. Did I get ripped off?

If they gave me the gas, I would not stop driving for best mileage.
$1.49 here today, my last fill was $1.549, I think with AmEXP card so a few more cents off.
regards
mech

Blink and you'll miss it--Gas Buddy says they're back up to $1.31.

My fuel bill is roughly halved by hypermiling. Even at 47c/ gallon that's still ~$800 saved annually.
But even when I was supplied with a company vehicle, I still hypermiled it. I even ecomodded it a bit.

Fuel prices are not following the international low-pricing trend in Brazil, as they were used last year for political purposes. Now, the bill was transfered to the weakest side of the equation...

I just filled up both cars, 34.094 gallons for under $19. $.54/gallon by using our fuel discount. I had bought gift cards for gas that i had to buy anyway, got 4x fuel points in december and redeemed them all at once today.
