not really that new here...

i joined up here a while ago. i had a 2003 nissan sentra ser spec v. i read about hypermiling on this forum, and implemented the techniques. i was able to achieve an average of 30 mpgs...

well, now that sentra encountered a cracked radiator, and a blown head gasket. so i bit the bullet and purchased a 2004 Chevy Colorado LS Crew Cab.

it was an excellent deal. 15 city, 25 hwy.

the truck came with a hard bed cover from Leonard, and a tow package. it also came with a air dam front bumper which is neat. all in all i think it has potential. what do you think?

My 06 Canyon crew cab had a 90 day average of 35.1 MPG until I filled the tank yesterday. So yes, I'd say the Colorado/Canyon has potential.

I have a mod thread on this truck. Search using the terms 06 Canyon modding and you will find it. My to do list includes new air dam, belly pan, 3.42 rear end, and wheel covers.
