They actually aren't painted, but tinted. At least mine are... you can see out through them, and (especially if you have tinted windows) they pretty much blend in on the window... here's a pic of mine, and I don't have tinted windows.

Maybe its an aero thing? My Jeeps hard top has rain gutters, the Insight doesn't.

Its more fun driving through puddles with the windows down (Jeep only, doing it in an Insight is very very very very bad mojo)

Yup, you can buy these as a factory option for the new Honda Odyssey. IMO they look way better than the traditional style vent-visors.

I have the in channel vent visors made by EGR and love em..

in the rain you can still crack your windows for some fresh air when
driving or parked and not have to worry about water getting in..

I can't embed pictures for some reason..

do these add alot of drag around the sides of the vehicle?

It would seem to me that the fact that you can crack your windows without killing your aerodynamics would help efficency.

Man, I wish I could get these. 8th gen civic coupe owners get screwed again! Sedan only.

Lots of people have been waiting for this window visor to be made for the coupe.

I like those because they don't look to be mounted on the outside. Where you been, haven't seen you in a while.
