I'd need to see a legitimate panic stop before saddling one. No doubt tire adhesion and reliable electronics is critical to maintaining upright. Perhaps acceptable for others, but I prefer multiple wheels under me.

Electric bike for me please. Cargo, top speed, doesn't need power to coast and balance, efficiency, cost, stable by design, pedal "hybrid" assist (can get home if the battery dies). I cannot think of an occasion where I personally need to take my vehicle into an elevator. Cool, yes, but not practical for me.

good start, though I don't know if it will like skating while motoring (i.e. one foot often off the ground). Looks a lot more portable and practical and affordable anyway + human power option.
