Only got 30 mpg in a Metro

With four people in it and towing a big honkin' 4'X8' trailer with full A/C. Did I mention I love my Geo?

Congrats! I did a similar thing in my Scion xD two weeks ago. My wife and I drove up to her house in York, PA (anyone looking to buy?) with my 4x8 trailer and picked up a sofa bed, a queen mattress, a big Rubbermaid tote full of stuff, and a few boxes full of books (they went in the car). Then we drove through the hills (altitude between 100' and 2,200') back to MD to unload the stuff. Approximately 110 miles with an empty trailer, 110 miles with a full trailer, and 140 miles without the trailer... and got 35.9 MPG on that tank!

Wow, you kicked my butt! You know, I hate to admit it, but I think just for towing purposes, maybe an extra cylinder would be acceptable....

It doesn't hurt... except for all the rest of the time that you are getting better fuel economy than me!
