Open loop indicator. Toyota 4AFE

Is there any easy way to tell if my engine is in open loop? Any way to easily wire a light or diode into the diagnostic port connector? What terminals?

.

Get a Ultragauge.

UltraGauge OBDII Scan tool & Information Center

Located in the top right corner of the Ultragauge is a icon that is shaped like a oval. If the oval is broken it's in "open loop". In "closed loop" it is whole.

Pictures of the Ultragauge in open and closed loop can be found here.
