At both aircraft repair shops I worked at we used gas sprayed from a siphon spray to wash engines down. Avgas costs 6.50 a gallon solvent costs over 20. Did a great job of breaking down oil and the dirt stuck to it. Must have washed down over 50 engines that way over a few years. Never had a fire. Though we did do it out side with a fire extinguisher handy.
In the second video the "highly intelligent" hooded individual jumps over his car, past a fire extinguisher to get away.
