Oregonians!
How many Oregonians do we have on here? Anyone interested in a group meet, greet and talk mods?

I'll be at the Gov Cup Friday the 19th at 9pm to see my friend play in his new band "Shoring".
I just got a 1976 Buick Riviera running too, so I'll probably take that downtown. Isn't that an ecomodders dream?

Better hurry. As a coastal state, Oregon is very liberal and believes that bureaucracy makes better decisions than individuals.

Maybe farther North?
I'll be at the Green Transportation Expo in April. It's been held in Portland previously, but will be in Tacoma April 5-7. Of course the conference and tradeshow is geared towards fleet buyers, but it could be fun to crash/shadow the party with ecomodded vehicles. I've actually got a sponsor who will be using my resurrected Grumman Kurbwatt as an example of low-cost practical commercial EV conversions for the ride-n-drive EVent.
There's still time to propose a DIY corral as a sideshow. The fleet guys would get a kick out of seeing some of our creations.

Central Oregonian here. Weather/road permitting over Santiam on a weekend may be able to make a trip to the valley.

Tacoma April 5-7
That sounds interesting. I might even have a running vehicle by then. My son lives right up 99. But $199 for a seat at a table of six seems ... unlikely.
I wonder it Arcimoto will be there. The way they talk about fleet and government sales, you'd think they have an option on a defunct motor home manufacturing plant.
How about 31st Annual Northwest Bug Run; Presented by the Rose City Volksters June 4th, 2016.

Never pay retail! What I'm proposing would be free trade show admission (but probably not to the sessions, as they were overcrowded last year) in return for displaying our cars/creations in a sideshow area. I'd propose the same for local electric vehicle association members.
