For some reason this thread reminds me of that fella that was going to revolutionize the trucking industry by engineering fuel savings techniques like HHO. That fella predictably disappeared.

here today to say that the van has been running great without the shutter system, fuel economy is doing well but not as high as it should be. The only issue we've encountered is winter is coming which means we'll have to allow the van to warm up more without the shutter system. I'm also here to say that in a few weeks we'll finally get that frotn air dam/splitter on the van and may include some custom side skirts to help direct the air flow away from under the van. Plus. Just got word that a company in KS is designing a custom set of coil springs for the van.. these springs are to be 2'' shorter and 25% stiffer than the factory spring. Which means the van will assume a level stance and retain the towing and hauling capacity the same as if the OE springs were installed. Not that we've going to be towing/hauling.. but these 2 year old lowering springs have had it.. bouncy as hell. Can't wait for the new springs in development as we speak.
