Over-inflation update

A few months ago, I posted regarding my experiences with over-inflating my tires.
I ended up having a flat tire due to a ruptured valve stem. I soon found out that not one, but two of my tires had a split in the valve stem.
The maximum PSI rating is set at 44PSI, and I was running 55 PSI.
When I had the rupture, I found out that the actual tire pressure was closer to 60 -70 PSI due to an inaccurate tire guage, and I thought I really screwed up.
Previously, I had done some work under the car with a partial belly pan. I covered my A arms and unbeknowest to me, had ripped my CV boots in the process.
I felt so stupid that day - not only had I blown my tires, but I ripped my CV boots by doing something stupid.
I convinced myself that I was too stupid to pretend like I could be a part of this forum.
I even got a ticket for hypermiling. ( 3:45 A.M. coasting to a stop light. The officer said I didn't use my blinker. This is my first ticket ever.)

Then .... this came in the mail :

Im back in the game

I notice there was a 'fatality' involved in this recall.
I hate to see that.

I, for one, am glad your back
We all make mistakes,
I hope no one ever feels "too stupid" to be here.
All opinions are welcome (some are more warmly accepted than others)
All ideas are fair (even the really extreme)
No one should be excluded (hey, they let me in)
(Key "Kotter" music here
Welcome back to the place .......)

Right ! I don't ever plan to intentionally go over 55 PSI.

Nobody should feel they are too stupid to be here. Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes when you think you messed up, it wasn't you afterall.

Glad to see you back!
