The nice thing about using 600v IGBT modules is, you have the freedom to use anything from a single AA battery up to 400v to power your car, and you can often get good deals on Ebay. You could start with 144v, and add more later if you wanted.

So it sounds like the motor is suitable. The good news is that that means the Lexus MGR I have is even more suitable for my donor car.

If you haven't already, become aware of evtv.me. They have been doing EV conversions for years, notably VW Things (the Type 181). What you can learn there is using OEM components (chargers, inverters, heaters, w/ CANbus) from production cars (Volt, Kia Soul, Tesla). The junkyards are filling with components that are superior, for 1/10 the cost (used), to the stuff available only a few years ago.

192 volts isnt that odd. It is 1\2 ton of battery in a configuration either 8 or 12 v batteries
