Try some coast down tests with it on/off.
well crap, i guess i should have read some more cause i was hoping for more of about 5%, 2mpg hwy for me. i may be scraping the idea and focusing on the rear of the vehicle for drag reduction.

Try a lower air dam and or a belly pan. I have done well with them, usually 5-10%

we'll see, i do want to do an air dam, preferably at the leading edge of the bumper, so i may fiberglass it and make a less aggressive grill block permanent, next project?

*UPDATE*
So i scored a corroplast (sp) box from work, we have... items that come packaged in it, so i have an endless supply. cut it up a little and here we are. Still need to paint it. I'm leaning toward making a full air dam to match rather than trimming it short and doing a belly pan. opinions?

this is at the rear of the block, hopefully get some suction to help evacuate any air that builds up between the bumper and radiator.
