Don't know where you learned to drive, but in 30+ years of driving, a lot of it pretty intense, I've never wrecked any car. Closest I came was being rear-ended in a left turn lane, but the car was (and is) still driveable.

I've only gotten into a handful of minor fender benders that were very little damage and always driveable. Never got a scratch on my first car, an 84 Cavalier wagon that was in the family for many years and had almost 200k on it. Drove it for 4 years. Then got the first 6000 wagon (and responsibilities like running with the working crowd) and stuff started to happen. Rearended quite a few times, rearended someone once after Tuffy screwed up my brakes, hit a snowmobile trailer that cut me off, got forced off the road by a tourist and into a parked car.

Ok I said ALMOST every body. I know some of you dident. But out of them few who dident get hit in the school parking lot LOL.
My Dad let me drive his prize 1971 VW Karmann Ghia. I loved that car. I crunched it at 5-10 MPH while searching for motorcycle parts to, guess what, reduce how much I drive my Dad's Ghia, . Irony is a harsh mistress.

It was front/rear passenger wheel-well damage, but the insurance totalled it. We should have kept it and saved it. Crunching that car is my biggest driving sin EVER.
