No ECO yet? TREV coming......

I just love 3-wheel concept vehicles that *almost* arrive; but someday we will get more 3-wheel vehicles in use. I hope anyway..... The coming Triac never arrived, the leaning trike never made it to production, the ECO # Commuter seemed to fade, the City-EL never made it here, and so on. This is the latest I think- hope it makes it here:

I did not plan this! A few days later I find this article. The Trev is doing a little cross-country:

Will need some decent cooling if used in central Cali... not much shade under that canopy! But a nice design, nevertheless...

So, paint the top. It's easy. The pic in my avatar has 1 piece of plastic for both rear windows, painted on top.

Better yet, remove the top altogether and add a small windshield... then at least there'd be some air movement...

Inside shots show no vents, at least none that would get air moving around the face and head area:

'Course, you might say "add vents, it's easy." That'd be beyond my abilities...

I painted my Pod top, but it is just another fairing. I tried to be fancy: got some lace material taped inside the top- then sprayed gold paint and removed the lace. When that dried- I sprayed the whole inside a dark green over the gold; when I turned it over- the gold lace stood out over the green behind the shiny glass.

Looked great, but still an oven in there. Next step for me was that really light silver insulation. Next step was deciding I wanted a convertible (and being too lazy to put the top back on!) I guess there will be no next step. I had envisioned a folding canopy top but I do not know how much longer the Pod will run. *=
