philly area corolla

Hi all

I stumbled across the site when i was looking for a do it yourself on FM antennas and somehow a thread about shaving your car antenna altogether came up. Anyway, the site definitely peaked my interest. Im into cars and I drive a manual 03 corolla. Ive spent some time modding my car for performance but with raising gas prices I kind of lost interest. I really don't know much about modding for efficiency. My belief was pretty much that anything that increases milage takes away from performance but the limited amount of time I've spent on the site has shown me that this isn't always the case. I'm looking forward to finding some mods that can do both. Who knows? maybe I'll switch from maximizing horsepower to maximizing mpg.

Welcome to the site. I did the same thing. Used to be into the go fast stuff (and still am admittedly just not nearly as much), but then got a job that gave me a 75 mile round trip commute each day. That changed things quick. Stick around and you'll learn a lot.
