I'm amazed some of those trucks have a lower cd then my Beetle's 0.38 cd
I Imagine if a Tacoma was lowered to 4 inches off the ground it would lower its cd by a fair amount , that's my hypothesis on it anyways..

Alternatively, a full bellypan and wheels spats.

Based on that you could inprove your Cd by adding a pickup box to your New Beetle. VW did it in the 40s. [citation needed]

It would be nice to tuck my wheels in 5 inches then cut the fender flares off , narrowing its width by 10 inches in the process..

My theory is remove material to enhanced cd not add it.
If you remove material to meat the Areo criteria you would have less car in the wind.

That picture was taken in 1995 with my first digital camera, a Casio QV-10. On a radiant heated floor under a geodesic dome. Life was good then.
For purposes of keeping on-topic in this thread, it would have a fold-down luggage rack off a 1920s sedan. I widened the front track to compensate for the narrowed rear, like an Isetta.

Nice model , I like the removed front fenders on the old beetles, instant hot rod although be it a real small one.
I have yet to see somebody do it with a New Beetle, maybe one day ,I'll be the first / one of.
Hijaking complete - sorry bout that , Bump
