I drive a hummer with a prius shell. It actually gets worse gas mileage than a hummer.

Some of those hit too close to home. I feel like an old metal band watching Spinal Tap.


I've seriously considered something very close to this with a Beetle. My brother had a set of 20'" wheels we fit on a friends Thing several years back.



The metal work is quite good on this. The grill and side trim are plasma or laser cut. Everything else took a good bit of elbow grease.
I have 4 of those Cabrio's. No wings.

Yep, that's me, back when I had the partial Kammback on. Looking at it now, I realize it was far too steep. It would actually lift up the middle supports and pull the tape off.
