Winter driven Canadian Miatas are not that kind to the rear subframe, there was a good chance that if it came out it would not go back.
If I had driven it it as a daily it would not have been salvalgable when I was done with it. At least at this point someone can still easily put a fuel cell in the trunk and still have years of fun summer driving it.
