I've converted all the lights in my house to LED. Late last year I finished converting all my exterior lights. I was satisfied with the exterior lights, but not 100%. I wanted a light that would illuminate most of my back yard. In doing some research I found a Polaroid brand PAR38 LED setup. It claims 2200 lm while only drawing 30 watts.
I purchased this light from Home Depot. It was only available to order online. I had it shipped to their store for pick up. I installed it on one of my side mounted, rear facing sockets. Immediately I realized, this thing is BRIGHT! It literally makes the CREE brand lights look like they aren't even on.
I do need to install a new socket on the rear of the house so it has a proper location to illuminate the yard. In the mean time though, the side of the house creates a lovely cutoff shield.
