Our previous car did not have an exhaust gas temperature sensor, but the new one does (since it has a DPF). I tried to see the exhaust temps with my ScanGauge II by setting up the X-Gauge for EGT, as on ScanGauge's webpage (
https://www.scangauge.com/support/x-...tandard-obdii/). I tried all of the combinations of TXD, RXF, RXD, and MTH, but none of them seem to work for my car
Any ideas what could be wrong? The notes for the EGT settings on the webpage state "Degrees Fahrenheit", while the units in my SCII are set to Celsius - could this be blocking the device from displaying?
In general, where can I find how information is coded by my car's ECU, CAN-BUS, EOBD, etc.? And once I do, how can I set the X-Gauge up to display it?
