Programming ScanGauge's X-Gauge for your car's EGT

Our previous car did not have an exhaust gas temperature sensor, but the new one does (since it has a DPF). I tried to see the exhaust temps with my ScanGauge II by setting up the X-Gauge for EGT, as on ScanGauge's webpage (https://www.scangauge.com/support/x-...tandard-obdii/). I tried all of the combinations of TXD, RXF, RXD, and MTH, but none of them seem to work for my car

Any ideas what could be wrong? The notes for the EGT settings on the webpage state "Degrees Fahrenheit", while the units in my SCII are set to Celsius - could this be blocking the device from displaying?

In general, where can I find how information is coded by my car's ECU, CAN-BUS, EOBD, etc.? And once I do, how can I set the X-Gauge up to display it?

Have you tried setting the SG to °F ?
And see if the EGT shows up then ?

DPF regeneration will likely show up as a vast increase in intake temperature
It went up to 50+ °C in Hågar the V50

I will try once I negotiate access to the car again.

But even if it works, I would like to know how to modify the settings of the X-Gauge to display EGT in °C. I doubt that Peugeot would use °F by default.

Or, in general, how to translate any signal code I can find from CAN-BUS to X-Gauge.

I switched the temperature units to °F and tried 2 or 3 EGT settings from ScanGauge's webpage, but still nothing is displayed I would think that the difference between temperature units is in the MTH (Math) parameter, so it may show an incorrect number, but it would still show something at all.

Anyone know what TXD, RXF, RXD are?
