That's a cool story!

I wouldn't have thought of a Smart for a tow-rig, but glad to see it worked!

I'm turning it into a reverse trike. I won't drive a trike. Too dangerous.

Sounds like more work than just making it 4-wheeled.

So either the wildfire was very reliable but tips over or was a turd and your rebuilding it because it's failed?

No. 25% less work.

>>So either the wildfire was very reliable but tips over or was a turd and your rebuilding it because it's failed?

All that (except for the reliability part) and it's boring.
Underpowered. Slow. Dangerous. Uncomfortable.
I'd rather it be fast, powerful, safe and comfortable.

Considering that its cockpit is beside the front wheel, the weight bias gets more adversely affected when compared to other cabin-tricycles such as the Reliant Robin or even some other Chinese models that have the cockpit behind the front wheel.

I've got a Macpherson strut front assembly from a Z or something that would give me room for a big fat seat right in the center.

A totaled Triumph Rocket for the engine back would work.
What's the name of this forum? Ecomodder? Whoops.
Maybe I could coast from 150 mph.
