Thanks for creating that!
I really like the design of that front end. It looks modern/futuristic and still is pretty aerodynamic. I like how there is an oval off axis circling the rider... that kind of drags attention to the rider in a sense. I may have to incorporate something like that in to my design.
My main concerns are in the rear/tail section of the fairing. Most of the improvements in aerodynamic and reductions in drag will come as a result of cleaning up the tail and the resulting wake from the bike. As long as i can get decent protection from the elements in the front end, i do not really mind how it turns out aesthetically. I'd consider it a plus if the front end looked good. The rear end, however, needs to be more specialized and I'd like it to be boat tailed, or at least partial boat tailed.

Enclosing the concept
Here's what I meant with fully enclosing the concept. I could envision the whole rear section sliding out for access but unfortunately you have to be a contortionist.
There are lots of compromises, but you have to choose what you could accomplish & what you operate with.
Good luck.

I think that a third wheel design would be useful for crosswinds, but what happens if the wind is coming from the side that the third wheel / outrigger is on ?
The bike would still tip over on the unsupported side.
Has anyone noticed that many of these faired in motorcycle designs don't seem to be too concerned about crosswind stability ? If you look at many of the designs from the front, they are wider than they need to be . The designs are very rounded versus slab sided.
Perhaps it is better to sacrifice a little CdA for safety.
Edit : When viewed from the rear, the bike does indeed seem to be very slab sided :

[QUOTE=botsapper;149274] The design is a combination of plenty existing conceptual designs.
The BugEV & TECA enclosed design were root inspirations of the renderings.

Hi Cd,
That's where you add weight right next to the outside wheel to keep this from happening.
One would have to calculate the CG of the vehicle, then add the appropriate amount of weight for the amount of cornering g's expected.

I was wondering when the "Carver" motorcycle would show up in this post. They're not cheap, at $70,000 per copy!!

Very interesting photos that i found of the TECA concept bike..... a possible new enter/exit strategy for a fairing? Tail couldn't be very long if i did this.
Looks like they repositioned the clip-ons really low with a low seat height.
Notice where his legs are... not sure my family jewels will approve of this riding position!
