Proposal of Automatic and customizable unit conversion in Forums

I will find very useful when writing to apply tags to figures with units.
Wether i could choose Bold, Italic and Underline why not to choose "fuel consumption","area","energy",... it would be easier using INternational Unit system for me than using everytime the conversion calculator because i want to share with you some european data and being understood and easy answered.
If anyone could chose what units to show when reading it would be nice.
CdA = 0.57 m2 = ... ft.sq? = ... in.sq? = ... sqauere yards?...?
Total drag force reduced by 20% means 20 % less fuel consumption if expresed in L/100 km but 25 % more mpg (if engine efficiency is the same, of course...)
Power in 100 kW means 136 cv but 134 bhp or ... if you know eficiency L/h...

Comparing kWh on fuel liters it's useful for comparing EV autonomy or Home appliance, included natural gas water heater, etc.
thank you

I dont'know how difficultud will be embed this features in forum Post new thread but maybe if the unit conversion calculator is accessible while we write we could comunicate more precisely and faster.

I once proposed something similar: When writing about distance then use [mi]...[/mi] or [km]...[/km], depending on which units you use. Then the forum software automatically converts it for you depending on your options in your User CP. I have no idea whether this is possible in BB code, and if so how hard it is, though.
