Question Pull information from OBD0

Maybe this has been discussed before, I am just getting back into things but I am wondering if there is any way that one can extract the information from an OBD0 ECU to be able to use on a tablet. Similar to what is going on with OBDII, I want to know if there is any way, maybe chipping the ECU, that would let us read from the ECU.

Anybody know much about this? Essentially I would love to have a tablet showing all of my data (MPG, Speed, Temp, etc.) instead of a MPGuino (Which I can't get to work properly in my CRX anyway).

Thanks a bunch for your replies!

This article might be helpful, I believe it's applicable to pre-ODB cars. Be sure to check out the rest of the series: AutoSpeed - How to Electronically Modify Your Car, Part 12

I know that Toyota had a means to do it on OBDI cars (I made a thread on it), anything pre OBDII will be vendor specific.
This looks interesting: http://alflash.com.ua/honda.htm

Hey! Thanks for that link!

While looking around on that website, I found the TBS's for the very problem my car is experiencing (1989 Mitsubishi). I have the factory service manuals but not the TBS's.
