Pulse and Coast Reminder
Here's a reminder for all you pulse and coasters out there. If you are trying to measure the differences in your mileage, then don't forget you have to turn the ignition key back on after you kill the engine if your car has a non-mechanical odometer.
If you don't, you won't be accumulating mileage on the odometer while you are coasting. So you won't be measuring the effects of coasting on your mileage.
Also, make sure that when you switch the motor off and on that it does not catch. Otherwise you will not be getting a true reading, either (most gas motors burn between 1/2 and 1 gallon of fuel per hour at idle).
