I bought a unit from Meelis. I'm happy with it. It works well and his custom coding is nice. I haven't had any issues yet with freezing as some have reported with other versions. Only thing I wish I had different would be the usb connection so I could do some data logging, but I think I can do without it. I do have an issue with my VSS signal, but that is with my vehicles vss, nothing to do with the mpguino unit.

Thanks for feedback. What is a problem with VSS? If it is unstable (jumps around when driving faster) then you can play with "VSS delay" setting. I think default was 2.
If VSS jums around then you can try to increment this one at a time. For my car it was possible to increase it until 5 then delay was too long and VSS started to show 0 speed. Anyways, I added stabilizing capacitor in my mpguinos and after that speed was stable and I didnt have to change VSS delay anymore.

My speed did jump around at first, but switching the delay to 0 fixed that. My problem is it reads 0 if I'm going under 15 mph. I've searched around here at it seems this is a common issue with some older vehicles speed sensors like my ranger. It sounds like replacing my vss with a newer style may be the answer.
