5,000 or so

Which is like once a year

Ive used non-syn 10w-30 for years

No reason other than price
I bought a ton at one time and am just using it up
Oil Change w Filter is typically under $10 for me

Ill switch to syn when I run out

Past Present Future?

Hello -

I do the 3K+ oil change, the "+" as a function of how busy I am. My SW2 burns oil like many S-Series (maybe 1 quart every 3K), so I don't take chances. If I were more car-savvy, I would probably go up to 5K. My current formula is 5w30 synthetic + larger-than-OEM Wix oil filter (for Ford Focus).
