So option 2 is twice the elevation change and 3 times the longitudinal distance? My money is on #1 being more efficient. By a lot.

lol, I can't, it's like picking which poison you want to die with...
just the usual, go up the hill "steady and don't push the engine too hard" or go as fast as possible... I used to do them both, I'd get the same mileage...

that was before though...
I think it has to be better now, but my mpgs dropped to hell in the second half of the tank...

only change I've done is a radiator cooling plate...

normally on a rolla...


radiator cooling plate...


but I really doubt that sent my mpgs to hell!
will take off the cooling plate...
