rack and pinion rebuild

Any instructions for rebuilding a rack and pinion and modifying for a proper PS delete?

My rack/ tie rod end probably has failed, and the auto place want 250 bucks for a reman rack. Even if it isn't the issue, I have plans to do a proper PS delete and want to remove the piston in the rack and pinion unit. I will just get a 50 dollar unit from the junkyard and rebuild/ make the necessary mods

Have you considered putting your car in the "garage?" That way we would not need to ask what kind of car you have.

By the way, what kind of car do you have?
