Radiator shutter controller?

Hey there, I'm looking around for appropriate sized radiator shutters so I can fit them to my car. Is there a controller available so that they can be made to auto open when the coolant hits a set temperature?

Those are usually integral to an ECM which was designed for that from the beginning.

My guess is you're going to have to either build an analog circuit to actuate it yourself, or build your own digital control device. It might be relatively simple to find a thermal switch that triggers at say, 200 F, and tap the 12v to actuate it.

Shutters are also model specific in their build, so getting it to fit just right likely involves cutting the vanes, and even then you need to consider if you've got enough space in the engine compartment to stuff the thing. Modern cars tend to make use of every inch of space in the engine bay.
