Neil,I have the December,1988 CAR and DRIVER road test here,of the 1969 'civilian' version.C & D give the dimensions as:
*Wheelbase..............................117.0 "
*Length.................................. 226.5 "
*Width..................................... 76.6 "
*Height.................................... 53.2 "
*Frontal area............................ 21.8 " (which would be 77% of the gross area)
*The greenhouse on the Charger is quite narrow compared to the main body section,and with fairly aggressive tumblehome,so,the 77% seems reasonable.
*Marcell and Romberg didn't supply any parametrics on their car other than the 6.5" ground clearance.
*NASCAR allowed the oil pan to be lower.
*And they allowed the exhaust to be even lower.

PS The Chrysler Proving Grounds is just outside of Ann Arbor where CAR and DRIVER is headquartered.And I presume that their data was provided directly from Chrysler.They usually mention if they're estimating values.And Csaba Csere,their technical editor at the time is a stickler for accuracy.He's an MIT guy.Very Smart.
