first picture
Also, the smoke wand is about level with the top of the roof to begin with, and then the smoke 'descends' towards the bonnet before rising again 'level.'
None of the images appear to show at least a 20-mph air velocity, a minimum for critical Reynolds number. Shame!

Does it prove that? Separation starts at the B-pillar.

And the scale. Maybe it's 1/43rd.

That would help answer the question.
At that scale, you'd need an 860-mph blow just to achieve critical Rn.
And of course, that's beyond supersonic.
Unless it's in a pressurized tunnel. That would be critical information.

Rather curious that the rear wind tunnel shot does not show smoke.
Maybe something happening there that gets ugly?

2021 Supra
ROAD & TRACK provided a technical image of the Supra after its debut.
The rear spoiler upper trailing edge is right on the AST-III contour.
As Dodge did with Viper. And Pete Brock's, All American Racing, Shelby Daytona Coupe.
Wolf H. Hucho might have mentioned that lift and drag would have been better had they just lofted the contour to that of the AST.
Reasons why they wouldn't include:
* degraded rear vision out the backlight.
* Added weight.
* Front/rear weight bias.
* A hit to polar moment of inertia.
All, something outside the wish-list for 'performance' cars.
