rapid registration renewal

Has anyone heard of it or have a variant in thier town?

It allows you to renew your car registration, or even a drivers license, from your own internet pc. I have done both.
This one chore (as we are saving the pennies on fuel) used to send me on a wild goose chase just to get the little yearly stickers on the license plate of the car up to date...I used to get so mad, I have even said nasty things to tlack of common sense to learn I have a phobia about standing in lines. Enough about me, I bet I saved 10-15 bucks in fuel, and let the frosty covered sube stay home.

Two thumbs up for "rapid renewal". I just stood in a department of motor vehicle line in my mind as I sat at my computer and got done what used to be a day off from work sometimes in seconds....(it used to take a long time, not to mention the fuel and car time)

An ecomodders success story just has to have a rapid registration renewal (where is the left thumb, I am two right thumbs for two thumbs up)

edit: As my last little engine is a 3 main bearing boxer,(back to a low rpm common sense v8 is most likely my future)...this adds to the savings of any sized vehicle.

Texas has online renewal. It costs $2.00 more, but that's worth it to me.

Florida has independent tag agencies - so you never need to step into a DMV to renew you tag

I think there's also online renewals too, but I've never used it.
