Turtle Just joined recentely

I have an 2006 Ford F150 5.4 with soft cover on bed. Just bought it and hope to get the mpg up to 25 or better. Waiting for my mpg gauge to show up so I can get a better idea of where I stand. My first mods planned are the following let me know what you guys think.
1. MPG gauge
2. Partial block of front.
3. under drive pulley
4. More efficient muffler
5. K&N filter
6. under body tray (way off probably summer).
7. Replace mirrors with cameras.
8. Replace fluids with synthetics.
9. LPG conversion when I get rich.
10. Experiment with shrink plastic used to cover boats
11. Install Electric Fan.

My old truck got around 20-21 hwy with k&n cold air filter, muffler, and mpg gauge.

Any other ideas out there, I live in ND so alot of exterior work is limited no heated garage.

I think if you wanted 25+mpg, you bought the wrong vehicle.

2. Replace fluids with synthetics
3. Partial block of front.
4. under body tray
5. Install Electric Fan.
6. under drive pulley

7. More efficient muffler (muffler is a muffler... no such thing as an efficient one.
8. K&N filter (stock is fine..... save the money)
9. Replace mirrors with cameras (mirror delete...... save the money)
10. LPG conversion when I get rich (you never will ...save the money)
11. Experiment with shrink plastic used to cover boats (WTF do what you want. But experiment cost money.)

Thanks for advice

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE,your sequence sounds logical. Save money part probably most important. The truck choice is for snow removal and getting around in winter. My first choice would have been a Ford ranger 4cyl manual tranny but no chid restraints for grand kids and wife wanted automatic. I will keep you posted on my progress.
