It realy happend (finally)

My girlfriend and I when at end Januari to a car dealer and bought ourself an full EV to replace her 9 year old 1.2 non turbo gasoline car.

She only drives a maximum of 70km in one day. When i work with the night shift. I will be using the car to.

Then the car drives a maximum of 140km in one day. The range is 200 to 300km depending on conditions.

The car we bought is the Renault Zoe R90 40kwh.

Is delivery is planned in exactly one month. (5weeks).
Lets hope that is soon.

Awesome, congrats.
No Zoe on our side of the pond, concept of battery lease is interesting though.

Yes. We also choose to lease the battery. 120€ a month. 1440€ yearly. When the capacity drops to 75%. We get a new battery for free. If we bought the battery. Then the car cost 10.000€ more. Break even is 7 year. And that is without the need of buying a second battery. The warranty is 4 years. Or 100.000km or 60% capacity. So if the battery goes faulty in the next 14 years or goes low on capacity. The cost of owning the battery is equal. I think this is a realy good plan.
