Recent problem

For the past few days, every time I try to access ecomodder.com, via my Toolbar I get this error.

The error reoccurs the second time I click the Toolbar, but the third time I get in and have no further problems. This happens every single time. Third click and I am in.
I tried deleting my cache and also deleting and renewing the link and the same thing happens.
If I have a link to ecomodders open, and try opening another, it works fine.

On further experimenting it seems to only happen the first time I try to access ecomodder.com after opening my browser. If I leave ecomodder, com the come back to it, without closing my browser, I get in okay.
I am using Windows 10 with Google Chrome as my browser.
I am using the most recent update to Chrome Version 62.0.3202.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)

That does not seem to be a valid address in the screen shot. If you want to open straight to your profile, try "ecomodder.com/forum/profile.php" add forum in the middle and remove the action from the end "?..." I recommend bookmarking the "recent posts" page instead

I added a link to Recent Posts to my task bar. And that worked. The thing is, when I go to the link to the homepage, it works too!

And now I have deleted the Recent Posts link the homepage link still works. Don't you love computers!

To err is human, to really screw up takes a computer.

No love on my part for Windows/Chrome. I wish 'Windows tech support' would stop calling me on the phone. (Mac OS/Pale Moon) The Toolbar and it's malformed link could be the domain of the browser or the OS.

The message says the PHP server is not found; but do you know what the query do=dst does?

And why this isn't in Forum News & Feedback - Fuel Economy, Hypermiling, EcoModding News and Forum - EcoModder.com

My guess is that this is a bookmarked link, and the bookmark was set in the "user profile", after setting daylight savings time (DST). The reason "profile.php" is not found, is you are looking in the base directory, "profile.php" was likely moved into the "forum" directory at some point. For awhile it has defaulted to the homepage when encountering this error, but now it only does on the third try for some reason.
I would reset the bookmark with a valid link in the most common location you visit. For me that is the "recent posts" page. Remove everything after the ".com" if you want the homepage. This does seem to be a user error not a processor error.
If that doesn't work, have you tried turning you computer off and then on again? A troubleshooting joke.

It certainly didn't manifest itself after the UK clock change, and replacing the link with a new one made no difference, but it has worked fine since my post yesterday, so all sorted!

Computers are extremely logical, but sometimes the logic can be opaque.
