Most assuredly, your gas and emissions will drop drastically!

And scoots are fun too!
Nope.

You would think that a tiny scooter engine would put out less pollution, but that 's not the case.

Say what you may,
I get 100MPG out of my 50cc scoot,
Even if a scoot has more pollution in the air than a car, it gives out less than 4 times the pollution a car does, even if the pollutants are in the air, there's no logic behind the article you posted. Even with more sofisticated engines, moving a 3 ton car, HAS to pollute more than moving a 200 pound bike!
The articles numbers are way off too! Most modern scooters, even chinese scooters, hold even to the california emission standard.
Maybe my old lawnmower was more polluting than a car, but current scoots (built from 2011-2012)are much better than the ones of 2008, which where much better than the gas hogs before them!

Also, save a considerable amount of money on repairs (think about doing 10k miles on a chinese scoot, vs driving your car that far. Cost on tires alone justify having a scoot)!

Pollutants of wearing out 4 rubber tires vs 2, replace broken parts (which a car has more than a scooter), etc...
